1. The planting land can be selected in hillsides and hills, and the soil should be loose and fertile. After completing the seedling raising land, plough and prepare the land, and remove the gravel and sundries. According to the actual planting situation, dig planting ditches and holes. Apply enough compound fertilizer inward.
2. It is suggested that the seeds of Phyllostachys pubescens should be picked every autumn and then sown. At this time, the germination rate of seeds can generally be guaranteed to be as high as about 50%, and they can also be sown in spring. The outer skin of Moso bamboo seed is hard. You can stir it with germination powder and then bury it in wet fine sand to promote germination. Turn it once a day and sow it when half of the seeds are white. Sowing is best carried out between 5-10 ℃.
3. Each hole can be sown with 8-10 grains, then covered with fine soil, covered with a layer of straw and watered with enough water.
4. After the bamboo seedlings are unearthed, the grass cover shall be removed in time to remove the surrounding weeds. Watering does not need to be too frequent. Watering is usually done once a month when the weather is dry.
5. In cloudy days, bamboo seedlings are treated with intercropping treatment, which can make them evenly distributed and improve seedling yield at the same time.
6. Generally, moso bamboo seedlings will tiller in about two months, and can grow to 30 or 40 cm in about half a year. Bamboo seedlings growing for about a year can be transplanted, and can be re divided after cultivation. Plant separately once a year.
The planting of Moso bamboo is relatively simple. Pay attention not to let water accumulate in the soil, prevent rotten roots, and protect bamboo shoots and raise bamboo in the later stage.
